BCP enables the definition, calculation and management of all necessary liquid quantity conversions required within SAP Oil, Gas, and Energy business processes – temperature and pressure corrections, calculation of base densities (in vacuum and air), volume correction factors, gross and net standard masses, gross and net standard weights and gross and net (observed and standard) volumes.

The Petroleum Measurement Cockpit (PMC) is the central point of access to the BCP functionality and features.
