Owing to the increasing number of customers using the QuantityWare BCP 10A solution, Notes 000016 and 000017 have been released allowing integration of the MQCI functionality into systems without depending upon BAdI technology.

Support package 10 for BCP 10A on ERP 6.0 has been released. This package contains:
Technical basis for various customer-specific solutions.
Enhanced MQCI Conversion Group Documentation for the Petroleum Measurement Cockpit.
Flexible test density entry for all MQCI conversion groups.
Important Notes.

According to American Petroleum Institute (API) Standards Plan 2008 the following standards will be revised:
Chapter 11.5.1, 1st Edition, Physical Properties Data − Section 5 −
Density/Weight/Volume Intraconversion − Part 1 − Conversions of API Gravity at 60 °F,
Chapter 11.5.2, 1st Edition, Physical Properties Data − Section 5 −
Density/Weight/Volume Intraconversion − Part 2 − Conversions for Relative Density (60/60 °F),
Chapter 11.5.3, 1st Edition, Physical Properties Data − Section 5 −
Density/Weight/Volume Intraconversion − Part 3 − Conversions for Absolute Density at 15 °C.
Planned availability is November.
These revisions may affect computer calculation implementations known under the designation ASTM Tables 8,11,26 (Volume XI/XII Petroleum Measurement Tables, ASTM D1250-80), thus an update to ASTM D1250 will also be made.
As soon as the revisions are published, QuantityWare will analyze all information and define an update release schedule in which the functionality will be delivered to BCP 10A customers.

CSP09 for BCP10A has been released. Note 000015 must be applied after import.
Please refer to the latest version of Note 000002 for import instructions.

Owing to issues with the SAP transactions SAINT and SPAM, when installing BCP10A into ECC600 systems at release levels higher than 602, BCP10A must be installed in a queue with QuantityWare CSP09. Please see the installation guide for more details.

Support package 01 for BCG 10A on ERP 6.0 is scheduled for release on 01.12.2008. This package contains:

• The first release of the Gas Measurement Cockpit, which provides a single access point for gas measurement specialists who need to design, test and monitor LNG and natural gas quantity conversion processes for all logistics transactions.
• Full MQCI support of all BCG 10A measurement standard implementations including new MQCI conversion groups & reading groups for LNG, high and low pressure natural gas and NGL. The MQCI support for natural gas quantity conversions allows configuration for compliance with AGA Report No. 7 calculation procedures (reporting and utilization of separate temperature, pressure and compression multipliers, calculation of atmospheric pressure from altitude).
• New customizing options for physical property data and ISO standard values (LNG density calculation and natural gas property calculation & conversions) – enabling the extraction of data specified in your long term gas contracts, as well as the flexible mapping of such data.

Support package 09 for BCP 10A on ERP 6.0/ SAP R/3 Enterprise 47×200 is scheduled for release on 17.11.2008. This package contains:

• Full MQCI support of all BCP 10A measurement standard implementations including new MQCI conversion groups & reading groups for Asphalt, LPG, Road Tar, Aromatics, Biodiesel and Ethanol.
• Batch Input support for all BCP 10A conversion Groups – easy migration of existing ERP legacy applications still based on classic batch input processing is now possible.
• Density range extensions of the ASTM D1250-04 implementation for high density applications (heavy crude oil) which can be activated separately for each conversion group.
• Extensions within the Petroleum Measurement Cockpit:
• • additional printing possibilities
  • additional test reports for the new MQCI conversion groups
  • additional support for customer specific implementations

We have seen that it is often a challenge for new IS-Oil customers – and even existing ones – to appreciate the detail and procedures necessary when implementing CTPL calculations in a serious and sustainable manner. To try to help all parties involved in IS-Oil implementations, we have released our Project Assessment and Implementation Guidelines which can be used as the basis for a concentrated CTPL implementation plan within the wider project view.

Here, customers will be able to download the latest updates, installation or upgrade packages as well as customer project files and fix transports. To allow more effective consulting or issue diagnosis, customers will also be able to upload large files to a secure area with limited, logged internal access.
